Our Privacy Commitment

📱 All your diary entries and photos live entirely on your own device — we never upload or store them on our servers. The App does show ads and uses anonymous analytics/crash-reporting services from Google & Firebase; see sections V and VI below.

I. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how My Diary (Nhật Ký Của Tôi) (the "App") handles user information. The App is developed by mkdev.

The App is built on a local-first principle — no account required, no server, no internet connection needed to use the core features. All your diary entries, photos, and settings exist only on your device.

II. Data We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect any of the following:

We (the developer) do not operate any server that collects user data. However, the App uses third-party advertising and analytics/crash-reporting services (Google, Firebase) that may collect some anonymous technical data — see sections V and VI.

III. Device Permissions

The App requests the following device permissions solely to enable its features:

All permissions are requested through iOS's standard permission system. You can revoke any permission at any time via Settings > Privacy & Security.

IV. iCloud Sync (Optional)

The App supports optional data sync via Apple iCloud. This feature is entirely opt-in and controlled by you. Data synced through iCloud is encrypted end-to-end by Apple — we have no access to it. See: Apple's Privacy Policy.

V. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has used the App, please contact us.

VI. Third-Party Services

To keep the App free and reliable, we integrate a few third-party services. These services may collect technical data under their own privacy policies:

These services do not access your diary content or photos — that content always remains on your device.

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple App Store. We do not store your payment information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using My Diary (Nhật Ký Của Tôi), you agree to be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully before use.

I. General Terms

My Diary is developed by mkdev. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

II. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your Apple devices in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. This license does not permit you to:

All content, UI, icons, and source code in the App are owned by mkdev and protected by copyright law. Content you create (diary entries, photos) belongs entirely to you. We make no claim over your personal content.

IV. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App for personal, lawful purposes only. You must not use the App to store content that violates applicable laws or infringes the rights of others.

V. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will operate without interruption or error. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, App deletion, or causes outside our control. We strongly recommend regularly backing up your data via iCloud or iTunes.

VI. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, mkdev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

VII. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Vietnamese law.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.



Purchase Policy

In-App Purchase Policy

My Diary offers an optional premium upgrade to unlock the full feature set.

💡 Auto-renewable yearly subscription. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.

I. What Premium Unlocks

Subscription title: My Diary Premium  —  Length: 1 year (auto-renewable).

The premium subscription includes:

Core features (writing diary entries, setting a passcode, reviewing past entries) remain free forever.

II. Pricing & Payment

• Premium is an auto-renewable subscription with a 1-year billing period. The exact price is shown inside the app and on the App Store and may vary by region.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Payment is processed entirely by Apple App Store. We do not store your credit card or billing information.
• Prices may vary based on local tax and currency policies.

III. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

The subscription automatically renews each year unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep Premium until then.

IV. Restore Purchases

If you switch devices or reinstall the App, you can restore your purchase for free using the "Restore Purchases" button in the App. You must be signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

V. Refund Policy

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with the Apple App Store refund policy. Generally, Apple allows refund requests within 90 days of purchase. To request a refund, please visit: reportaproblem.apple.com.
