This Privacy Policy describes how the Lunar Calendar - Binh An application (hereinafter "the App") handles user information. The App is developed by DatHV iOS.

The App is designed on a local-first principle — no account, no login, no advertisements. All your personal events and settings exist only on your device.

II. Data We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect the following:

• Name, phone number, email address, or any personally identifiable information
• Content of personal events, anniversaries, or notes you save in the App
• Geographic location or GPS data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Advertising identifiers or device identifiers

III. Device Permissions

The App requests the following permission to provide its features:

• Notifications: To remind you of upcoming anniversaries and personal events tracked by lunar or solar calendar. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings. All calendar features remain fully functional without this permission.

This permission follows iOS system mechanisms and can be changed at any time in Settings > Privacy.

IV. Data From External Services

The App optionally connects to the internet for utility features. These are entirely optional and do not affect the core lunar calendar functionality:

• Gold prices & exchange rates: Public market data is fetched from the server licham.demngayyeu.vn. The App only sends read requests — no personal information is transmitted.
• Weather: Weather data by province is fetched from the same server. The App does not send your GPS location — you manually select your province.

All server requests are signed with an authentication code (HMAC) to ensure integrity. No personal data is transmitted in this process.

V. iCloud Sync (Optional)

The App supports optional iCloud sync for personal events — this is entirely optional and controlled by you in iOS Settings. Data synced via iCloud is end-to-end encrypted by Apple and we have no access to it. See: Apple's Privacy Policy.

VI. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided information, please contact us.

VII. Third Parties

The App does not integrate:

• Advertising SDKs — the App is completely ad-free
• Analytics SDKs or behavioral tracking libraries
• Any third-party services that collect user data

VIII. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.

II. Nature of Information

The lunar calendar data, auspicious days, lucky hours, auspicious directions, and feng shui content provided in the App are based on Vietnamese traditional folk beliefs and are for reference purposes only. We do not guarantee absolute accuracy and are not responsible for decisions made based on this information.

III. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your Apple devices in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. This license does not permit you to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Commercially exploit the App in any form
• Reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code

IV. Intellectual Property

All content, interfaces, icons, and source code in the App are owned by DatHV iOS and protected by copyright law. Personal event data created by users remains entirely the property of the user.

V. User Conduct

You agree to use the App for personal and lawful purposes only. The App may not be used to store content that violates the law or infringes the rights of others.

VI. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as-is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, App deletion, or causes beyond our control. We recommend enabling iCloud sync to back up your personal event data.
